- YAMADA Hats of a polyethylene shell and suspension system working together as a protection system.Yamada Hats meet or exceed the applicable requirements for a Type I helmet (top impact) as outlined in ANSI Z89.1-2003, Class E, and also as outlined in CSA Z94.1-2005 (Class E) with 1-Touch and Fas-Trac suspensions.

ELECTRICAL PERFORMANCE
- CLASS E (Electrical) Helmets intended to reduce the danger of exposure to high-voltage electrical conductors, proof-tested at 20,000 volts.
- CLASS G (General) Helmets intended to reduce the danger of exposure to low-voltage electrical conductors, proof-tested at 2,200 volts.
- CLASS C (Conductive) Helmets not intended to provide protection from electrical conductors. The electrical performance requirements in the 2003 standard are identical to those in the 1997 standard.

Do not mix suspension and helmet sizes. Make sure the sizes match (example: standard size suspension with standard-size helmet). Failure to comply with the above will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death.
